About Darcy
Darcy is a behaviour support practitioner in Constellation's Victorian team, working with children and adolescents whose behaviours of concern are making daily life harder at home, at school and in the community. His work is grounded in positive behaviour support and applied behaviour analysis, and he is comfortable with the data-heavy, collaborative side of the role.
He holds a Master of Arts in Applied Behaviour Analysis and two undergraduate degrees in applied behaviour analysis and development and family studies. That training shows up in the way he works: careful functional assessment, plans built on evidence rather than guesswork, and a focus on teaching replacement skills instead of simply trying to stop a behaviour.
Darcy's caseload spans children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities. He works across home, school and community settings, and via telehealth, collecting and analysing behavioural data to shape intervention, then training families and support workers so the strategies hold between sessions.
Common reasons people come to Darcy include behaviours of concern, communication and emotional regulation difficulties, and families who want a clear, practical behaviour support plan they can actually follow.
Darcy is data-informed, practical and collaborative. He believes good behaviour support starts with understanding why a behaviour makes sense to the person doing it, then changing the environment and teaching new skills rather than just managing the behaviour.
